Your Absolute Certainty Is Annoying

I’m not annoyed by much, okay that’s probably not true, but when people state their opinion of the day as the ultimate, you know, the only way, it grinds my gears. This goes along with my last article about reasons to exercise in the morning but takes a more generalized approach.

Change of Mind

Many years ago, it was ridiculous to hear people complain about the then President being wishy-washy because he changed his mind. Good Lord! In the face of new or better information, being open to changing one’s mind is what I want in a leader.

Who has worked for someone so closed minded that they refused to budge from their path regardless of overwhelming evidence that it’s wasn’t the right, or best, choice.

I Was That Person

Yep! It was me telling you that 30–45 minutes of cardio was the only way to go. Buy that Jane Fonda Step Aerobics set, pop that video in, and step to it! (The eighties were what the eighties were.) There are still so many people who will tell you that you will only lose weight if you sweat it off. Wrong! Cardio is super healthy, but as for weight loss ……
