Yes, it's one of those transponders that attaches to one's windshield. I've totally quit paying attention to it since it doesn't measure much of value. I definitely get dinged for speed on a long downhill drive to the interstate. It's 30mph and everyone routinely hits 40+. I occasionally downshift to stay under, but more often go with traffic.

The transponder itself has an inaccurate speed on a road I travel regularly. They think it's 25 and it's actually 30. There's another ding. But, I think they probably cover more rural areas and so the short trips in the city automatically get rated badly.

Not sure, but as long as I'm alive and having fun driving they can kiss my ever-lovin' butt! LOL
