Yes! I finally did this. Took a break as well, removed the pressure and remembered how I wanted to write.

The prompts can be done as often or as little as you want. You can write volumes, or take a short, breezy, light-hearted approach.

You do not have to churn out articles daily. If you want to write deep stories that fuel your soul, write those in the manner that really does fuel your soul. Focus on the things you love and forget the rest. Write for yourself!

Many of my stories started in my journal. I think that's a brilliant idea!

And for sure, play the piano!!

Last month, when I reduced my time on Medium, I actually wrote out a schedule, and the order I was going to do them in, in my journal. (Mine's GoodNotes on my iPad) It goes like this:

Exercise

Quickly enter Medium stats

Check my schedule & Plan my day

Wordle/Spelling Bee

Read NYT

Read/Comment Medium

Write Medium

The only reason I check Medium stats early is that I found myself distracted wondering what had happened overnight. LOL

Find your schedule and where Medium fits. It has made the world of difference to me!

Good luck ... I hope that you can find your happy here because it's obvious so many people have loved your writing.
