When I started writing on Medium and people were actually reading my work, I was thrilled! It didn’t matter to me if I made $30 a month or eight dollars a month. But when mediums started spreading money around in August, and took it away in September, then began the process of explaining, while, not explaining, obfuscating, hiding behind fraudulent activity, and then the most recent explanation, I am at a loss for respect for the powers that be.

If they are not reading what the writers are writing about the transparency, or lack there of in their explanations, then shame on them. The fact that they don’t send us an email with a link to a clear description of how writers are paid is beyond unprofessional .

It is challenging to go back to the joy of having people read my work when we are all under the cloud of a leadership team that lacks the ability to communicate honestly.
