This brings to mind my loathing of the term anti-aging.

Has the incessant messaging on Instagram about retaining luminosity and vigor become the false gold standard in opposition to ageism? Has some magical thinking unwittingly reinforced, rather than countered, the stubborn undercurrent of bias toward older adults?
