This article is fantastic!

As a lax, 74-year-old exerciser, prior to November, I have thought that walking on an inclined treadmill was building muscle, at least in the short term. I've always done a handful of moves most mornings, (squats, pushups off the stove, several stretches). I recently spied a rowing machine at my gym and have begun using that, but having Fibromyalgia, I need to give my body time to adjust. This is the longest I've kept up a routine (3 days a week/30-45 minutes on the treadmill)

I eat a low carb diet (not LP) with the occasional foray into 'normal' food. I've also done Intermittent Fasting for a few years. I feel stronger and more capable after four years of low carb.

How does IF play into this?
