The Founding Fathers Were Far From Perfect, but …
We’re so far off base that I don’t see a way back.
Our founding fathers weren’t perfect, but I know they did not intend for the ease with which deranged individuals are murdering innocents, nor did they foresee weapons more powerful than a musket loader. The insanity needs to stop. The NRA and gun manufacturers need to be held accountable for fearmongering.
But, who will sanction them? The legislators who are in the business of fearmongering themselves? Those who are spreading lies and disinformation? I think not.
People believe lies and conspiracies, no longer believing in science. Don’t get me started on the hypocrisy of the Christians who are using their brand of Christianity to torment, terrorize, and ostracize anyone who doesn’t look like them, act like them, or believe like them.
They use their religion as a weapon living the exact opposite of the teachings of Christ. There isn’t a Christ-like bone in their bodies, much less their hearts.
These gun-toting, homophobic, male-centric, glory-seeking, misogynistic Christians shrieking their pro-life stance, refuse to enact any legislation that supports healthy lives.
