A 100-Year-Old Lesson on How a Positive Attitude Can Change the World Around You.

Canva Pro

Do you think having the ability to create gratitude and a positive attitude can be credited to a movie one saw at an impressionable age? Seriously … this had to be my first glimpse into how attitude impacts one’s outlook on life.

I was 10 years old when the Disney movie Pollyanna came out. It was my absolute favorite! My active, energetic, adventurous self could relate to how Hayley Mill’s character had trouble fitting into her prim aunt’s life.

Ms. Pollyanna was created by Eleanor H. Porter in 1913 … a lesson over 100 years old. Thank you, Ms. Porter!

Today, there are tons of research studies, and thousands of books, blogs, articles, and podcasts focused on the impact of attitude. I’m thinking an hour and a half spent watching the magic of Pollyanna’s positivity might just do the trick.

I highly recommend it!

And, before you go, yes, I know that it’s a very Disney world, but suspend reality for a bit and get the lesson. 😊
