Someone smoking in the building or using fabric softener is one of the major reasons that I will stay in my house as long as I possibly can. I am so allergic to both of those things, even though I was a smoker for many years, shortly after I quit smoking my allergy to it developed and is insane.

I 100% am with you on uncomfortable neighbor relations. And, who wants to get in a war that makes one’s home a battlefield?

As for the pup, if he’s stressed and the owners don’t know about it, they can’t help him. Poodle owners tend to be good dog parents, and they probably would want to know. Several of my friends use CBD oil for their rescue dogs who have separation anxiety or thunder/fireworks anxiety and it seems to work well. Maybe a little doggie gift basket with soothing doggy things?

I had a similar situation with the parents of the girl that was renting the house next-door to me. When they came to visit, they would leave their dog out in the backyard unattended and go off on an afternoon out. That dog was so stressed. He barked almost the entire time. One day I said to the dad that I wasn’t complaining but I was worried about the dog because dogs bark like that when they are stressed to the max.

He was actually grateful because he had no idea it was happening.

Not sure if your neighbors would take it as well but CBD oil is always a good option. Poor puppy!
