So very true that our losses are deep regardless of whether they're shared by thousands.

It’s still a big, scary world. And just like 22 years ago, there’s about to be a defining moment that will forever change my life into “before” and “after”. Most of us eventually lose our parents. The loss, grief, and confusion are no less shared for occurring on different days and years, instead of hitting all of us at once the way 9/11 did.
