No one thinks to listen to their grandmothers … really listen.

Do you ever wonder what your mom thought about when she was pregnant with you? How pregnancy changed who she was?

I would love to know what it was about my dad, not just where they met, but how did she know he was the one? How did she feel about being a stay-at-home mom after being in the Navy and stationed in D.C. during the war?

Daughters are special, right? They can be a challenge and a gift, a curse and a blessing, going from an adventurer slaying dragons to an entitled princess in the blink of an eye.

Daughters and moms have a unique relationship. There are so many things we want to tell them, but once they hit a certain age, it seems we are the last people they want to hear from. A journal just for them is a wonderful way to share the life lessons that you’ve learned on your journey through life. And, God forbid something happens to you, you’ll be leaving a legacy.

I wish I’d had this idea when my daughter was small, a record of my love, dreams, and fears. She and I have had our challenges as adults. She doesn’t have clear memories of her childhood, and I believe that reading my words of…
