Not to worry. It gave me a chance to tell a bit of Jesse's story. I hesitate to write about it because it's so incredibly hard for people to hear. As sad as it is, rather than focus on his death, I truly do look at the gift that he was in my life.

When I wrote my victim impact statement for the judge I focused far more on how a harsh sentence for their would be a fitting sentence for the parents who helped, and/or knew all along. How does a mother allow another mother to be left in limbo?
