Nope. I grew up with very snowy winters, and lived in the same area most of my adult life. We had drifts as tall as my mom when I was a kid. It doesn’t snow as drastically now, but it still snows at least 2-5 feet every year. Even here in KC we get plenty.
Having said that, I fully understand why it’s magical to someone for whom it’s not normal, and even after 74 years of it, the beauty of freshly fallen snow can still take my breath away.
