Moving! Regardless of how one chooses to workout, movement is the key. I hate the cold, so walking doesn’t work for me, plus, while it’s great exercise, we need to move our bodies in different ways for lasting mobility. I like bouncing a dodgeball-style ball off a wall. When they’re well inflated those suckers can move, and trying to catch them, or chasing them, is a terrific mobility workout. Another good indoor exercise is bouncing on an exercise ball. If you’re stable you can add in arm movements. Low impact and cardio. I have 5, 8, and 10 pound weights for simple resistance, and do the Sandburg Stretches daily. (They’re on YouTube.)
