Maybe the Universe does. 22 is a power number in numerology. One you don’t reduce down.

My early favorite number, like, from youth, was 2. When I got into sports, 2 was taken, so I took 22 as a consolation. I have no reasoning for this, just like I have very little reason for choosing the number 13.
