Kansas City Super Bowl Champs Interrupted Our Regularly Scheduled Program

I’m in no frame of mind to write, but … the February Challenge!

The challenge question today is, “If you were a protagonist in any book or movie, who would you be and why?”

I am overwhelmed by the insanity that comes with living in Kansas City, being a KC Chiefs fan, and it being the day of their Super Bowl LVII Championship celebration. Schools are closed, the restaurant closed for lunch because of its proximity to the main stage, and of course, the parade and rally took hours and I couldn’t look away.

For just a moment, I’m going to share a little KC Chiefs love. FOMO was strong today. I wanted to experience what makes this team special yet again. Patrick Mahomes walks part of the route, high-fiving and shaking hands with fans, and putting his arm around a young spectator.
