I've never been a 'kid' person, but if I did anything right in my children's lives it was reading to them. How they loved the character voices, tickles, and giggles. Of course Dr. Seuss, but Grover's There's a Monster at the End of the Book, was a very big deal. One that I found for my son, who didn't develop coordination quite as quickly as others his age, was Leo the Late Bloomer.
