It was a high-paying position at a pharmaceutical company. When I left, I started my own small promotions business, sold first edition books on eBay. (This was 1996), and worked part time for FedEx Express. I left FedEx when I was 57 moved to Kansas City and worked in hospitality for several years. Almost all of my jobs after I left the pharmaceutical company were part-time.
