Incredibly well articulated! I've tried to write it out, but haven't succeeded. As a member of the club, having lost my husband twenty years ago, and my grandson in 2006, I've felt everything you outlined.

I will only add one thing more: My reluctance to talk about it knowing that it makes others uncomfortable. Even knowing it will bring them pain to hear the story. Knowing that some people will think I should be over it by now.
