I'm 72 and grew up in white bread suburbia. From the time I had kiddos until today I have lived in diverse towns.
I was always able to walk through security with the bells going off, and store employees would just wave me through. It didn't matter what color skin the employees had. I'd probably have just said, “Well, it's about damned time!” I'm delighted that the tables were turned!
