I was also vegan for awhile and developed several issues, primarily as a result of oxalates. Today, I eat a lot of low oxalate veggies and fruits, but have added in organic dairy, grass fed when available, organic chicken and wild caught salmon. My health has improved immensely.
Having graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, one of the things I appreciated about their program was the focus on individual needs. I work with clients to find THEIR solution.
