I think about this often, and once noted that I avoid articles longer than five minutes because I want to read several authors. I aim for 3-5 minutes.

I also wonder if tagging people, and the amount of copy I used to include about challenges, added to my read time and if that hurt me in the ratio department, so I reduced that copy significantly on several pieces.
