I read an article on Medium last year sometime written by a woman who was 10 years my junior, whose family was upset that she was driving to visit someone 300 miles away. My response was that I regularly visit people 300 miles away as does my sister who is four years older than me. so I think that peoples perception of courage in travel is constrained by their personal limits.

Having said that, I believe that you exhibit bravery, when you do some of the things you do with people you’ve just met. But I think it’s a combination of bravery and trust and adventure, and I admire it very much!
