I love roses! Not the hybrids without a lovely scent, the real, heirlooms that smell heavenly! When I bought my house it came with two very old rose bushes. The house was built in 1946, and I’m guessing the roses went in not long after. I am a horrible caretaker, but they delight me every summer with gorgeous pink blooms!
My neighbors and I rescued three old bushes last fall. I’m hoping they make it.
