I handle social media and am a Speaker for Grandparents for Gun Safety, an organization based in Missouri/Kansas. As you can imagine, the frustration we experience in trying to pass even the most simple gun legislation is intense.

Most Americans, including gun owners, support safe gun storage and universal background check laws, but these damned legislators keep loosening restrictions to appeal to the lowest of their supporters because they know that people are one-issue voters and Republicans simply cannot vote for a Democrat regardless of how many children die! Guns, abortion, religion ... that's all they care about. Living children? Nope!

It is our hope that through education and awareness, more and more will see the light.
