I can point out one problem with looking at views/reads/earnings. Views/reads are in close to real time while earnings are for the day prior. In other words they’re on different timelines. Stories that get viewed/read overnight aren’t included in the earnings until the next day.
Not that much of it makes sense anyway, but it might make more sense to look at a couple of similar stories after they stop earning.
I don’t bother because Medium doesn’t give us the data to make sense of it. 😂
