A Drabble is a work of fiction that is exactly 100 words. No more. No less.

Today’s random word is remind, and it must be a Western.

If you stay on this page for 30 seconds, clap at least once, highlight a passage, and comment, I get paid. It’s that simple.

“Let me remind you that Sadie’s under my wing now, Ike. I’m through watchin’ you knock her around the minute you drink yourself stupid. Why can’t ya be a happy drunk instead of gettin’ downright belligerent?!?

“You want to meet me O.K. Corral at high noon? You crazy? Drunk or not, if’n you’re challengin’ me to draw down on ya, then you better mean it.

“I don’t give a good goddamn if ya bring yer brother, Billy, or both the McLaurys, neither. I’ll have mah brothers, Virgil and Morgan, n’ Doc alongside.

“You’re serious? All right… see ya then, fool!”

Wyatt Earp, his brothers, and Doc Holliday met Ike and Billy Clanton and the McLaury’s for a shootout on October 26th, 1881.
