Welcome to Fiction Shorts, the publication devoted to, well, short fiction. Several of our community of writers have branched out into fiction, and many have turned out to be naturals. This is your publication! A place to share our stories with the world. (Okay, with whoever stumbles across it.)

We’re looking for stories under 1000 words or less. It’s not like we’ll toss you out for submitting something a bit longer, but if we begin receiving a lot, we might add a separate section for them.

We’ll have prompts and challenges, but you don’t have to use them.

Let me know if I should start a publication for our poetry as well. Happy to do so.
