Everyone is welcome to their opinions, and while I understand your position, it's not something I'm likely to change my mind about. At one's prompting, a bot goes out and scrapes pieces from the world's photographers and artists. Regardless of the talent of the person writing the prompts, it's still taking those pieces from someone else's work... It's exactly the same as a person writing a prompt for a story, then passing it off as their creation.

At the very least, AI companies should be made to pay the artists it picks from. Then, and only then, would it be theirs to sell or give away.
