Easy & Delicious Tomato Soup

Tomato sauce isn’t the lowest carb, but you’re not supposed to eat the whole thing. :)

I’m a lazy cook. The easier the recipe the more likely I am to make it.

Do you want to control the ingredients in your food? Do you love tomato soup? Here’s my fast and easy tomato soup recipe.

Let’s get to it.

  • 1- 8 ounce can of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup of organic heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 tablespoon of dried minced onion,
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Put it all together in a small pan, heat to just under a boil, cover, and let simmer on low heat for around an hour.

Do you like a little kick? Add cayenne. Love toasted red pepper soup? Toss in red peppers. (Hint: during the summer, I buy (or grow) red peppers, dehydrate them in my air fryer, and store them in a tight jar. I toss a few pieces in my soup to give it that yummy red pepper taste.

As always, adjust the ingredients to your taste.
